Dear Member,

Please be informed that with effect from 01 April 2010, except for the payment of Subscription Bills, no cash transaction shall be entertained in the Club and the Smart Card shall be the only mode of daily transaction. Infact from 01 April 2010, coupons for the Minimum Usage (of Rs.750/-) will also not be issued and the same will be effective through your Smart Card. Towards this end, two parallel modes of transaction shall be operative from 01 March 2010, viz through Smart Card and in cash, the latter especially for those to whom the Smart Card has not yet been issued.

In view of the above to operatioinalise and stabilize the Smart Card system, the following is requested :-

a) Usage of only your Smart Card every time you visit the Club, with effect from 01 March 2010. It may please be borne in mind that your Smart Card, besides being your ‘cash’, is also proof of identity of your Membership of the Club and therefore would need to be carried whenever you visit the Club.

b) If your Card or that of your spouse, have not been received, Shri Shubhrajit Bhattacharya on 2248-2894/95 Ext.239 may please be contacted at the earliest.

c) In case your photograph or that of your spouse has not been submitted to the Club’s Office the same be done expeditiously.

d) Children would also mandatorily, be requiring the Smart Card. Their photos too be submitted at the earliest for their cards to be made.

It is again being reiterated that :-

a) With effect from 01 April 2010, the Smart Card will be the only means of cash transaction and therefore there is the need to start using the Card(s) with effect from 01 March 2010 to familiarise yourself with the system.

b) Please contact Shri Shubhrajit Bhattacharya for your Smart Card at the earliest.

c) If not already given, please submit your photograph(s), including that of your child/children at the earliest.
